Content Creation, Strategy, and Design

Before pivoting my career to Product Design, I earned a B.A. in English in 2018, with my subsequent professional experience centered on research and marketing. Below are some standout projects from my previous roles.

SEO-centered Campaigns

Working for a marketing agency (MPI) allowed me to develop my SEO skills. I was able to leverage my writing abilities and contribute to a program called Sales Xceleration, where several OVPS (Outsourced VPs of Sales) buy into and participate in bi-weekly meetings to frame sales-related marketing content. I ghostwrote SEO-heavy blogs, emails, and social copy to promote OVPS expertise and increase referrals.

Social Media Strategy

From July 2018 to June 2020, I managed the marketing efforts for a healthcare advertising firm: Career Tree Network. I produced the majority of content for the company’s social channels. I utilized tools like Facebook Ads Manager to develop various campaigns, study analytics, and ultimately formulate better-performing content. From promoting Facebook Live chats with the company president to composing relevant healthcare memes, I had the pleasure of conceptualizing and crafting the copy and graphics for these engaging posts that doubled the company’s followers.

Website Redesign

In addition to content management and crafting B2C deliverables in my marketing role at Career Tree Network, in April of 2020, I collaborated with the company president to redesign Career Tree Network’s website. I performed a feature audit of the original site and competitors’ sites to design the updated layout, improving the user experience for mobile and desktop.
